HY SERIES

HY heaters incorporate the basic, sound design features of Hy-Way’s other well established models, including a helical coil design for maximum efficiency, high flow centrifugal pump, multi fuel burner, external insulation and low stack temperatures in an economical package. Skid-mounted for easy installation, HY heaters are suitable for either indoor or outdoor applications. HY heaters are capable of utilizing Natural Gas, LP Gas, No.2 fuel oil or combination fuels.

Hy-Way’s Twin-coil HYT heaters are designed for high-temperature industrial process applications. Designed with twin close-wound helical coils, the HYT heater provides greater thermal efficiency in a small compact package for limited space applications. In addition,the internal use of a ceramic fiber blanket, in place of cast refractory, greatly reduces weight and the expense of maintaining castable refractory. Built to provide years of dependable service, its design protects it from the rigors of process industry applications. KVO SERIES
Heavy Fuels

Gencor's MKVO Vertical heaters are designed specifically for high temperature terminal applications were space is limited. Because of the unique design of the MKVO Vertical Heater, heavy waste oils and recycled fuels can be burned without fear of coking, sludging or damage to the coil. Heavy fuel oils have the greatest BTU energy content and are also some of the most inexpensive fuels available. The unique "Ash-Out" heater design eliminates the problems associated with burning of these types of fuel oils and allows the highest energy efficiency to maximize the caloric value of the fuel. Rugged I-Beam design coupled with a high-efficiency helical coil and a fully insulated exterior skin, make the MKVO Vertical Heater the ideal choice for Terminal Operators and Waste Oil Recyclers.

OIL Series Heater
Inline Thermal Fluid Heater

The Hy-Way™ OIL heater is a deluxe counterflow pre-heater for use with viscous fuels such as no. 4, 5, and 6 or reclaimed oils. The OIL™ heater can quickly and efficiently boost oil temperatures on demand to achieve optimum viscosity for proper atomization of heavier fuels. The design of the OIL™ heater consists of a steel cylinder with an internal cylindrical fuel manifold. Heated thermal fluid is circulated through the inner manifold while fuel oil is circulated counter-current through the external jacket, thus providing optimum heat exchange and transfer to the fuel. Sizes are available from 150 to 800,000 Btu/hr.

The heat exchanger is skid mounted and thermally insulated with an embossed aluminum skin for maximum efficiency and durability. Uniform pressure and volume are critical to a well-balanced and efficient combustion system.

SA Electric Series Heater
Inline Thermal Fluid Heater

The Hy-Way™ SA Electric heater is a deluxe pre-heater for use with viscous fuels such as no. 4, 5, and 6 or reclaimed oils. The SA™ heater can quickly and efficiently boost oil temperatures on demand to achieve optimum viscosity for proper atomization of heavier fuels. The design of the SA™ consists of a hollow jacketed cylinder with a series of internal heat tubes. Each tube houses a specially wound wire coil element that is precisely wound to the exacting specifications to provide fast and even heat distribution. Sizes are available from 50 to 200 Kilowatts. The heat exchanger is skid mounted and thermally insulated with an embossed aluminum skin for maximum efficiency and durability.

PI Electric Series Heater
Inline Thermal Fluid Heater

The Hy-Way™ PI Electric heater is an economically designed immersion heater for use with viscous fuels such as no. 4, 5, and 6 or reclaimed oils. The PI™ heater can quickly and efficiently boost oil temperatures on demand to achieve optimum viscosity for proper atomization of heavier fuels. An effective compliment to older or existing heating systems, the PI™ can be added in series to provide additional heat exchange as required. Sizes are available from 48 to 144 Kilowatts.
